When we first took trikke out, we found ourselves incapable of making trikke move without scooting and then gliding - and not gliding too far, so doing a lot of scooting. We realized we'd found an exercise that resembled a stress test that you could back off and return to and we actually saw increase of our cardio stamina increase daily, based on how far we could go on our street without needing a breath-catcher.

By the end of the first week, we had the Trikkes going out into the neighborhood, over small bridges in the road, and we were only needing to scoot uphill or against the wind, which let us go a lot further, and gives our upper bodies a better workout.

The videos you see on Google and Yahoo make it look like a teen craze: But there are more and more clips on You Tube now from everyday people like you and me in our fifties and sixties who have caught on to the Trikke being a way to work upper body, lower body, core, cardio in any combination... and have fun doing it! Putting in exercise energy into having fun skyrockets the stress fighting benefits of exercise.

 

Baby Boomers are starting to realize they need to be proactive about their health, and some their weight, too, and exercise can be so boring; our trikkes are so much fun we get out there two or three times a day!

We got our Trikkes from Tampa Trikke, and thenfolks there are amazing. We received our Trikke the very next day, and got a free water bottle rack, tool kit, and T-shirt, too! We opened the box, unfolded the Trikke, and we were ready to rock and roll our way to great health, and be able to do it together!
